Role Overview

We’re looking for a proactive and supportive People Advisor to deliver high-quality HR support across the organisation. You’ll work closely with People Partners to guide managers, improve processes, and champion a positive employee experience.

What you’ll do

  • Provide day-to-day HR advice to managers and employees.
  • Support onboarding, pre-employment checks, and probation processes.
  • Maintain the HRIS and support monthly payroll activities.
  • Monitor absence, advise on sickness management and coordinate Occupational Health referrals.
  • Support employee relations cases including investigations, disciplinaries and grievances.
  • Manage family-friendly processes such as maternity, paternity, and flexible working.
  • Support policy updates and ensure compliance with employment legislation.
  • Contribute to HR improvement projects and engagement initiatives.
  • Produce regular HR reports including absence, turnover and diversity metrics.

About you

  • CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards).
  • Experience in a fast-paced HR advisory role.
  • Confident working with HR systems and data.
  • Experience supporting payroll processes.
  • Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practice.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to handle sensitive matters with discretion and integrity.
  • Passionate about creating a positive, inclusive working environment.
