Are you a passionate and dedicated Social Science Teacher eager to ignite curiosity and critical thinking in young learners? A highly respected Outstanding secondary school in Hereford is looking for an exceptional Social Science Teacher to join their innovative Humanities and Social Sciences Faculty on a full-time, permanent basis starting September 2025.

About the Role:

Deliver inspiring and dynamic lessons in Sociology, with the flexibility to teach Psychology, Criminology, or Health & Social Care based on your expertise.

Plan and deliver differentiated, thought-provoking lessons that challenge students at KS4 and KS5.

*

Engage actively in collaborative curriculum design, departmental initiatives, and enriching extra-curricular activities.

*

Play a key role in pastoral support, contributing to the holistic development of students within a supportive school community.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification alongside a degree in a Social Science discipline.

Be confident teaching at least one Social Science subject at KS4 and KS5, such as Sociology, Psychology, or Criminology.
