Finance AnalystMilton Keynes – Hybrid £40,000 – £45,000 + Bonus + Benefits An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Analyst to join a growing finance team in a role that offers a strong mix of analysis, reporting, and systems exposure, with regular interaction across both Finance and IT. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with financial data, improving reporting, and supporting system and process improvements, while acting as a key link between finance users and technical teams. You will play an important role in ensuring financial information is accurate, reporting is meaningful, and finance systems are being used effectively to support decision-making.Key responsibilities:
  • Producing and maintaining financial reports to support the FP&A and finance teams
  • Working closely with Finance and IT to support system changes and improvements
  • Supporting month-end and reporting cycles, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
  • Maintaining financial data, mappings and reporting structures
  • Assisting with upgrades, testing and improvements to finance systems
  • Building new reports and improving existing ones to provide better insight
  • Supporting internal users with reporting queries and system issues
  • Identifying opportunities to automate processes and improve efficiency
  • Helping to ensure strong controls and data integrity across finance processes
  • Contributing to finance transformation and continuous improvement projects
Key requirements:
  • Previous experience in a Finance Analyst, FP&A, Reporting or Management Accounts role
  • Good understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow)
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets
  • Comfortable working with finance systems / ERP / reporting tools
  • Strong attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset
  • Able to communicate with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • Interested in improving processes and using systems more effectively
  • Experience working with finance systems or reporting tools (Desirable)
  • Exposure to system upgrades, implementations or change projects (Desirable)
