Are you a Manufacturing Process Engineer or similar from a Rubber, Elastomer or Soft Polymer background looking a varied, hands-on role where you will be responsible for new product introduction from initial concept to mass production?

In this role you will be responsible for liaising between the Production, Design and Sales team to develop prototypes and samples before full mass production. This business specialise in injection and compression moulding of soft polymers and are part of a vertically integrated group. You'll help manage product quality, ensuring operators and taught correct procedures for production and maintain product and project quality.

This company are part of a vertically integrated group with a large orderbook. Specialising in soft polymers, they have carved out a profitable niche and are looking for a Production Engineer to ensure New Product Introduction timelines are on schedule.

This role would suit a Manufacturing Process Engineer or similar from a Rubber, Elastomer or Soft Polymer background looking to be respected as a technical expert in a hands-on, varied role with responsibility over end-to-end NPI projects.

The Role:

Working between the Production, Design and Sales teams for New Product Introduction projects
Understanding and interpreting design parameters for manufacturing
Improving manufacturing processes, managing product quality and cost
Monday - Friday, 40 hour work weekThe Person:
