Linsco is working with well established and highly reputable company who are looking for a experience Design Engineer to join their team due to growth.

Ideally, we are looking for a candidate who comes from a housing background however my client will also consider a candidate from a Construction/Civils background.

Candidates must have experience of road and sewer design and progressing Section 38 and Section 104 approvals, knowledge of PDS required but not essential

Duties

Undertake the required highway and drainage designs for projects, to secure the approval of and, where appropriate, progress the adoption agreement with the relevant Statutory Authority.
Ensure the earthworks required across a development is designed in the most cost-effective way possible.
To achieve the most cost-effective solution to construct and service the site.
Advise the Land & Planning department on the technical viability of new sites.
Assist in the production of layouts and technical report for Land Appraisals; and required working drawings.
Undertake the engineering design from land appraisal through to construction issue.
Appointing appropriate consultants, agreeing fees in-line with budgets, liaising with statutory authorities, and ensuring that design sits within budget. For more information, please apply with an updated CV or contact Jennifer directly
