Van Delivery Driver – Bradley Stoke, Bristol

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Van Delivery Driver based in Bradley Stoke, Bristol.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine potential for progression.

Shifts: 

Monday to Friday/Saturday – start times between 09:00 - 18:30 

Rates of Pay:

£14.25 per hour basic / overtime after 40 hours £21.38 an hour

Day-to-Day Duties

Your duties as Van Delivery Driver are:

• Carry out multi-drop deliveries (40-50 drops per day)
• Load and unload Vehicle
• Deliver shipments to clients / customers
• Collect shipments from local customers
• Ensure all loads are safe and secure
• Complete vehicle inspections and report faults
• Operate a 3.5 tonne van safely and efficiently
• Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with staff at delivery locations

Essential Skills:

The skills required to be a Delivery Van Driver are:

• Previous multi-drop experience 
• Valid UK Category B Driving Licence
• Strong knowledge of vehicle operation and driving regulations
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to identify and report vehicle safety issues
• Good understanding of road networks and navigational tools
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and use own initiative

Desirable Experience

• Experience driving commercial vehicles

Training Provided

•  Industry-related training provided and ongoing support throughout
