Are you an Air Conditioning Engineer looking to move into an office-based Project role?

We're currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established air conditioning and refrigeration contractor, who have an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer to join their growing team.

About the Company

Our client specialises in air conditioning and refrigeration, delivering high-quality installation, service, and maintenance solutions throughout the UK. They have built a strong reputation for reliability, technical excellence, and outstanding customer service.

Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint a Project Engineer to support their expanding operations.

The Role

You'll manage multiple projects from initial enquiry through to completion. Responsibilities include client liaison, site surveys, system design, quotation preparation, and tendering for new work.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and design of new air conditioning and ventilation systems

Project management of new installation works

Liaison with clients, suppliers, and engineers to ensure smooth delivery

Purchasing and organising materials and labour

Attending site meetings and carrying out surveys

Candidate Requirements

Minimum 3 years' experience in an air conditioning environment

Strong organisational and administrative skills

Excellent communication and customer-facing abilities

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Self-motivated with strong attention to detail

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Full UK driving licence

Based within South Yorkshire or Derbyshire

Package

£40,000 - £55,000 per annum (DOE)
