Salary: £40000/annum

We're looking for an experienced and proactive Retrofit Site Manager to take the lead on a variety of exciting retrofit and decarbonisation projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys building relationships, and takes pride in delivering high-quality, compliant, and innovative energy-efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

*

Lead the planning and operational delivery of retrofit works within budget and timeline.

*

Ensure health, safety, and welfare standards are adhered to on-site.

*

Manage engineers and subcontractors, providing technical support and performance oversight.

*

Maintain excellent relationships with clients, residents, and stakeholders.

*

Deliver retrofit solutions including insulation, ventilation, low-carbon heating, and energy-efficient installations.

*

Ensure full compliance with regulations including PAS2030/2035, Building Regulations, ECO funding requirements, and more.

*

Conduct site inspections, manage site documentation, and prepare progress reports.

*

Collaborate closely with commercial teams to manage costs and profitability.

Essential Experience & Qualifications:

*

Proven track record in site management, ideally progressing from a time-served trade background.

*

SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)

*

IOSH Managing Safely

*

CSCS (Manager level)

*

Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials.

*

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

*

IT proficiency (MS Office, AutoCAD, Power Project)

*

First Aid at Work qualification

*

Understanding of temporary works procedures and site administration practices.

Desirable:

*

Retrofit Coordinator or Assessor qualification

*

Experience delivering sustainability/retrofit programmes

*

Knowledge of M&E systems or heat networks
