Job Title: Damp and Mould Operative - Social Housing Maintenance
Location: Bishops Stortford
Salary: £19 per hour (PAYE, temporary), rising to £38,500 when permanent
Type: Temp-to-Perm

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Damp and Mould Operative to join a team delivering day-to-day reactive maintenance across social housing properties. The role primarily covers Bishops Stortford and surrounding areas. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys solving Damp and Mould Issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out thorough inspections of residents homes to identify the sign of damp, mould, condensation and associated structural issues

Diagnose root causes such as leaks, poor ventilation or rising damp and recommend appropriate remedial actions
Complete damp and mould treatment works such as washing, treating and sealing affected surfaces
Apply specialist mould treatments, fungicidal washes, paints or coatings following safety and manufacturer guidelines
Ensure all works meets health, safety and quality standards. Requirements:

Proven experience as a Damp and Mould Operative

Strong social housing background
Full UK Driving Licence What's on Offer:
