Family Solicitor – Doncaster

This well-established Yorkshire based firm are looking for a Private Children and Domestic Abuse Solicitor with at least 2 years PQE. The successful Family Solicitor will have extensive advocacy experience, especially in urgent cases and strong local connections with domestic abuse organisations.

Responsibilities for the Family Solicitor: 

• Handle cases related to domestic abuse and private law children matters
• Provide legal advice and representation to clients in court hearings and other legal proceedings
• Advocate effectively on behalf of clients, demonstrating a high level of expertise in urgent matters
• Develop and maintain strong local connections with domestic abuse organisations
• Act promptly in urgent situations, thinking on your feet to address immediate legal needs
• Collaborate with other professionals within the firm and external organisations as needed

Requirements: 

• Family Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least 2 years PQE
• Strong understanding of domestic abuse and private law children cases
• Extensive advocacy experience, particularly in urgent cases
• Proven ability to think on your feet and act swiftly in urgent situations
• Good local connections with domestic abuse organizations
