RG Consultancy are delighted to be partnering with an excellent, well-established company based in Preston who are looking to add a Management Accountant to their finance department. Due to an internal move, the opportunity has arisen for an experienced Management Accountant to join the finance department to support the Financial Director with the production of detailed monthly management accounts.

As part of a small team and reporting to the Finance Director, this Management Accountant role will be responsible for:

• Detailed management accounts, produced on a monthly basis.
• Analysis and commentary on the management accounts information.
• Ownership of the balance sheet.
• Maintenance of the fixed asset register.
• Oversight of the delivery of sales and purchase ledger with the aid of ledger team.
• Identify areas of improvement across processes and systems on a continual basis.
• Lead person in audit process.
• Support for FD in making strategic decisions.
• Adhoc projects and tasks as required by the FD.

This role offers the opportunity for someone to operate as number 2 to the Finance Director and have a strong involvement in helping to drive the company forward.
