What You’ll Need
- Level 3 childcare or early years qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience in an early years setting, ideally as a Room Leader or senior practitioner.
- Strong knowledge of EYFS, child development, and safeguarding.
- Confident communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
- A calm, creative, inclusive approach with a passion for outdoor learning.
What You’ll Do
- Lead your room’s daily practice, ensuring a safe, inspiring, and nurturing environment.
- Deliver engaging activities aligned with EYFS and the nursery’s outdoor-focused ethos.
- Mentor and support practitioners to maintain high standards of care and education.
- Build strong relationships with children and families through clear communication and trust.
- Oversee observations, planning, and assessments to support each child’s development.
- Maintain safeguarding, wellbeing, and inclusion at the heart of your work.
