Engineering Manager

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000

Shift: Days (Monday to Friday) 

Location: Stockport 

Are you ready to lead and grow within a thriving industrial environment? We're looking for an experienced and ambitious Engineering Manager to take ownership of our engineering function and drive operational excellence across the site. This is a hands-on leadership role managing a small, capable team and supporting critical plant and equipment performance.

Skills required for the Engineering Manager 

Leadership experience
Minimum HNC in Engineering 
Manufacturing experience 
Fault-finding skills with PLCs 
A driven, humble leader who balances hands-on support with effective team development
Responsibilities include:

Planning and prioritising daily maintenance and engineering tasks
Leading shutdowns, CAPEX projects and managing external contractors
Ensuring compliance with safety and legal regulations (power presses, LEV, HVAC, etc.)
Managing budgets, training records, recruitment and performance reviews
Driving automation and continuous improvement initiatives
