Atheray Stone are currently looking for a Site Engineer to work for a Main Contractor who are delivering key infrastructure works for Oxfordshire County Council.

The Ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a Highways or Structures environment, for a similar Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor.

Responsibilities:

* Perform surveying and setting out duties

* Review drawings and quantities for accuracy

* Schedule materials and coordinate with procurement

* Plan and organise site operations to meet deadlines

* Liaise with consultants and subcontractors

* Supervise site labour and subcontractor performance

* Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards

* Maintain quality records and resolve technical issues

* Arrange and conduct material testing and instrument calibration

* Maintain a detailed site diary

* Collaborate with the wider site team and other departments

* Identify and implement improvements and innovations

* Support the Sub / Site Agent with additional duties as required

Candidate Profile

* Degree / HNC Qualified in Civil Engineering

* At least one year post grad experience working for Tier 1/ Tier 2 contractor

* Previous Highways / Structures experience

* Full UK Driving Licence
