Trainee Parachute Packer

We're recruiting a Trainee Parachute Packer for a globally recognised aerospace manufacturer in Denham. You'll learn to pack and inspect parachutes and drogues for aviation safety systems used in fighter jets - precision work that directly contributes to saving lives.

This is a genuine training role with full support from experienced parachute packers - no previous experience required, just the right attitude and willingness to learn.

What you'll be doing:

Learning to prepare, inspect, and pack drogues and parachutes to exacting standards

Working through a structured training programme under the guidance of experienced packers

Reading and interpreting technical drawings

Handling materials and components carefully in accordance with procedures

Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient working environment

Developing skills across multiple types of parachutes and drogues

What you need:

Used to manual work and comfortable working with hand tools

Meticulous attention to detail

Patient nature and comfortable with repetitive tasks

Team player keen to learn and work to high standards

Ability to follow precise instructions
Manual work or manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential - full training will be provided.

What's on offer:

£27,000 per annum

Days-based: 08:00-17:00 Mon-Thu / 08:00-12:00 Fri
