About the Role

Robert Walters are currently supporting a leading business in Wolverhampton in the recruitment of a Management Accountant on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities of the Management Accountant

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and variance analysis
• Producing budgets, forecasts, and financial models
• Providing insightful financial analysis to support operational and strategic decisions
• Business partnering with non-finance stakeholders across the organisation
• Supporting year-end processes and liaising with auditors as required
• Monitoring costs, margins, and performance against KPIs
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency
• Ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial procedures

The Successful Candidate will have the Following:

• Fully qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
• Proven experience in a management accounting role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent Excel skills and experience with financial systems
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues
• Well-organised with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
