The Best Connection are currently seeking a Mechanical Assembler to work within a manufacturing facility based in Waterlooville, Hampshire.

Duties to include but not limited to:

• Helping to assemble metal boxes for components
• Using hand and power tools to match products to client specifications
• Working with diagrams, drawings and instructions.
• Quality controlling products, to make sure completed items are as they should be
• Assisting with making sure the manufacturing facility is both safe and tidy
• Accurately measuring and cutting materials where required
• Reporting any faults, defects, or issues to supervisors
• Working as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines
• Handling materials and components with care to avoid damage
• Assisting with packing and preparing finished products for dispatch

Previous experience within a production environment, as well as use of hand tools is essential for this position.

Pay rate for this is £13.00 per hour, with overtime available which is paid at £19.50.

Hours are Monday to Thursday 0730 - 1615, Friday 0730 - 1215.
