An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical Associate Director to join a leading building services engineering consultancy in London.

This role offers the chance to take a strategic leadership position, overseeing the delivery of high-profile mechanical building services projects while contributing to team growth, client development and business strategy.

The successful Mechanical Associate Director will play a key role in technical leadership, project delivery and stakeholder engagement, working across a diverse portfolio of projects within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Associate Director, your responsibilities will include:

Leading the delivery of mechanical building services projects
Providing technical oversight of HVAC design, calculations and specifications
Managing and mentoring engineering teams and project resources
Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
Supporting business development and work-winning activities
Overseeing project delivery to meet programme, budget and quality targets
Coordinating multidisciplinary teams across mechanical, electrical and structural disciplines
Ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practice
Supporting the strategic growth of the business and engineering capabilityRequirements

To be considered for this Mechanical Associate Director role, candidates should have:

Proven experience working as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, Associate or Associate Director within building services
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical design principles
Experience leading projects and engineering teams
Strong client-facing and stakeholder management experience
Experience working within consultancy or multidisciplinary engineering environments
Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skillsDesirable:

Chartered Engineer (CEng) status
Experience delivering large-scale or complex building services projects
Experience contributing to business development or team growthWhat's On Offer
