An independent banking and merchant services consultancy is looking to hire a Merchant Services and Payments Analyst.

As a company, they support their clients with all areas of banking and merchant services and they are proud to help over 200 companies globally each year optimise their payment solutions and reduce costs.

Their clients include CFO’s, FD’s and Treasury Managers, and with team members from global banking roles and industry experts in debt consultancy, they are able to save them an average of 20%.

The Analyst will form a vital part of the UK back office project team and will have primary responsibility for data capture and analysis. Also, the presentation of data visualisation and engaging graphical representations.

In addition, the position will carry out data quality control and validation as part of core day to- day duties. Alongside these tasks, there will be a need to work regularly with CRM databases regarding prospecting new business clients. The role holders will work closely with partners and associates to identify and develop productive relationships with new business prospects, companies and sectors. Also, the role will involve collaboration with colleagues across the UK office and analytics teams across Nordic countries such as Norway.

About you:

You will have a good level of expertise with data tools such as Excel and other Microsoft applications with solid analysis and presentation skills. In addition, you will have a good understanding of analytics principles and enjoy working with electronic data files.

You will also need a finance related degree (or equivalent) and a full UK drivers licence due to the office location.
