General Maintenance Operative

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000
Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
Location: Bristol BS20

My client is seeking a hands-on and proactive General Maintenance Operative to support site and workshop operations. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a varied workload and takes pride in maintaining clean, safe, and well-organised work environments.

What you'll be doing in your new General Maintenance Operative role:

Carrying out routine maintenance on buildings and outside areas
Supporting general building maintenance with the wider maintenance team
Moving and loading equipment, liaising with the yard and transport teams
Attending site visits to assess, position, or remove equipment
Organising and maintaining the workshop and yard areas
Assisting various departments with additional tasks as required
Ensuring vehicles and all workspaces are kept clean and safe
Complying with company health & safety and environmental policies
Supporting continuous improvement within ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 frameworksWhat you'll need for your new General Maintenance Operative role:

Previous experience in general maintenance or equipment handling
A practical, self-motivated approach and the ability to work independently
