Job Description:

As a Technical Support Specialist in Electronic Security, you will play a vital role in assisting their clients with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electronic security systems. Your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will ensure that our clients' security systems operate seamlessly, providing peace of mind.

Key Responsibilities:

1.

Customer Support: Provide excellent technical support to clients via phone, email, or on-site visits, addressing inquiries, concerns, and technical issues related to electronic security systems.

2.

Installation and Maintenance: Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV, and alarm systems.

3.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly, ensuring minimal system downtime.

4.

Training: Train clients and end-users on the operation and maintenance of electronic security systems.

5.

Documentation: Maintain detailed records of client interactions, issues, and resolutions. Update documentation for system configurations and changes.

6.

Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and engineering teams to provide technical expertise during pre-sales and post-sales phases.

7.

Upgrades and Software Updates: Keep systems up-to-date with the latest software and firmware releases.

Qualifications:

* Proven experience in electronic security systems support, installation, and maintenance.

* Proficiency in electronic security technologies, including access control, CCTV, and alarm systems.

* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

* Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

* Familiarity with relevant software applications and tools.

* Technical certifications related to electronic security: CCure - level 2 minimum, Lenel - professional level minimum, Genetec and Honeywell Prowatch

Additional Information:

* This position may require occasional travel to client sites.

* On-call responsibilities may be part of this role to address urgent client needs.
