Early Years Teacher - Primary School
Full-Time | Long-Term Opportunity | Starting September 2025

We are seeking a passionate and nurturing Early Years Teacher to join a vibrant and welcoming primary school in the Stevenage area. This full-time role is available from September 2025 and offers the opportunity to be part of a supportive team dedicated to providing the very best start for young learners.

The Role:

You will lead a Reception class, delivering a creative and engaging EYFS curriculum that promotes curiosity, independence, and a love for learning. The ideal candidate will be confident in creating a stimulating environment and skilled in meeting the developmental needs of early learners.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality, child-centered lessons in line with the EYFS framework

*

Support the development of pupils' early literacy, numeracy, and personal/social skills

*

Observe, assess, and record children's progress, using this to inform planning and intervention

*

Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and the wider school team

*

Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold its inclusive, community-driven ethos

The Ideal Candidate:

*

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

*

Has experience teaching in an Early Years setting

*

A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and early childhood development

*

Creative, patient, and enthusiastic with a genuine passion for working with young children

*

Committed to creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
