An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maths Teacher to join a dynamic educational institution in Reading. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality mathematics education to students, fostering a positive learning environment, and contributing to the academic success of the school.
Day-to-day of the role: - Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective maths lessons that meet curriculum standards and cater to a range of learning abilities.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure academic development.
- Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to enhance learning outcomes and maintain student interest.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop teaching materials and participate in departmental meetings and school training events.
- Maintain discipline in accordance with the school policies and implement strategies for behaviour management.
- Participate in school events and activities beyond regular teaching responsibilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in mathematics.
- Proven experience as a Maths Teacher or similar role.
- Strong understanding of the mathematics curriculum and teaching methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
