Audit Senior - Oxford - £35,000 to £45,000 + Hybrid Working

A well-established and expanding accountancy practice is looking to recruit an Audit Senior to join its Oxford team. With a clear pathway for progression and the backing of an experienced, partner-led structure, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading audits, building client relationships, and mentoring junior staff - all within a supportive, professional environment that promotes work-life balance.
What you'll be doing:
- Working closely with managers and partners to deliver audit engagements from planning through to completion
- Leading audits and supervising team members during fieldwork
- Managing audit requirements for a growing portfolio of varied clients
- Advising clients in conjunction with partners and confidently engaging with client finance teams, including CFOs and Directors
- Supporting audit tenders and contributing to business development
- Developing and mentoring junior team members
- Building strong relationships with both new and existing clients
What we're looking for:
- ACA or ACCA qualified with proven audit experience
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, confident approach
- Full UK working rights
- A proactive mindset and a desire to progress within a growing audit function
What's on offer:
- Salary from £35,000 to £45,000 depending on experience
- Hybrid working - 2 days per week in the office
- Choice of office location (Oxford or Witney)
