The Job

As an Employability Tutor, you will:

Deliver engaging, high-quality learning sessions across employability and vocational qualifications such as Customer Service, Business Administration, and Adult Social Care.

Provide 1:1 and group teaching, tailoring your approach to meet a variety of learner needs.

*

Mentor and support learners to achieve qualifications, embedding Maths, English, and employability skills into their programmes.

*

Track learner progress, set SMART targets, and ensure the successful completion of qualifications.

*

Promote positive learning environments and address challenges around attendance, motivation, or performance.

*

Work in line with quality standards, Ofsted requirements, and safeguarding practices.

This is a role where no two days are the same - you'll be teaching, coaching, problem-solving, and inspiring learners to achieve their goals.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

A qualified tutor with a recognised teaching or training qualification at Level 3 or above (PTLLS, AET, or equivalent).

*

Experienced in delivering training in employability, functional skills, or vocational qualifications.

*

Passionate about education and supporting people from diverse backgrounds.

*

Skilled in using a range of teaching methods to engage and motivate learners.

*

Organised, adaptable, and confident in managing a caseload.

*

Comfortable with IT, reporting, and performance tracking.

*

(Desirable) Holds an IAG qualification and experience within the skills/training sector.
