First Achieve are seeking a Plant Fitter / Mechanic for their client - a leading business in the landscaping sector.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated Plant Fitter / Mechanic to join a well-established company, maintaining a wide variety of equipment - from chainsaws and hedge trimmers to excavators and heavy plant machinery.

What You'll Be Doing:

Carrying out routine servicing and maintenance of tools and plant both in the depot and on-site

Responding to breakdowns and delivering fast, effective repairs in the field

Diagnosing faults accurately and safely to reduce downtime

Keeping detailed service records and coordinating with the operations team on preventative maintenance

What We're Looking For:

Hands-on experience with both small tools and large machinery (e.g., chainsaws, stump grinders, chippers, excavators)

Excellent mechanical and diagnostic skills

A valid UK driving licence is essential

Self-starter with strong organisation and problem-solving skills

What's On Offer:

Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm

Company vehicle for site visits and call-outs

Competitive salary depending on experience (£16-18/hr)
