TSR Legal are proud to be working with a leading commercial law firm in Dorset who are currently looking to recruit a Legal Secretary to join their well-established Private Client team, supporting a senior Fee Earner specialising in probate matters. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and organised legal secretary looking to work within a friendly and professional office-based environment.
The Role:
You will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support, with responsibilities including:

  • Preparing legal documents, letters, and correspondence (audio and copy typing)
  • Managing client communications, diary appointments, and general enquiries
  • Supporting with the drafting of probate forms, Wills, and other private client documentation
  • File management including scanning, photocopying, and archiving
  • Liaising professionally with clients, colleagues, and third parties


The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within a Private Client/Probate team
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Fast and accurate typing skills with good working knowledge of MS Office
  • A professional, personable manner and a strong team ethic
  • The ability to manage a busy workload independently and efficiently
