Teaching Assistant - Greater Norwich

Do you want a role where you can genuinely impact young people's lives while working in dynamic, fast-paced environments? We're seeking motivated and adaptable individuals to support schools across Greater Norwich as Unqualified Teaching Assistants.

In this hands-on position, you'll work closely with pupils who have a variety of academic, social, and behavioural needs. Your role will involve supporting learning, boosting engagement, and helping to maintain a positive, structured classroom environment. While experience in education, care, or youth work is advantageous, what matters most is your attitude—resilience, initiative, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are key.

You'll need to be flexible and proactive, confident in building strong relationships with both students and staff, and ready to step in wherever support is needed. Due to travel between schools—sometimes at short notice—a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.

In return, you'll benefit from competitive weekly pay, with additional allowances for longer commutes or extended hours where applicable. You'll also have access to ongoing CPD training and development, user-friendly online systems, and dedicated support from a consultant who understands your career goals. There may also be opportunities to join our Guaranteed Work Scheme, providing added financial security even on days when work isn't available.

A full driving licence is required for this role.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see the FAQ's on the Teaching Personnel website for details.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
