Hours: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm, Saturday and SundayWe are seeking a committed and proactive
Residential Officer to support and supervise students in our college residences, ensuring their wellbeing and safety during weekends.
Key Responsibilities: - Support and supervise students in residential accommodation, promoting a safe and inclusive environment.
- Oversee social and sporting activities during evenings and weekends to encourage student participation and engagement.
- Monitor the condition of residential, sporting, and social facilities, reporting any maintenance issues or concerns.
- Patrol campus and accommodation buildings, working closely with security personnel to maintain safety.
- Maintain acceptable standards of student behaviour outside of normal timetabled hours, fostering a respectful community.
Person Specification: - Relevant professional qualification or proven experience in a similar role.
- Experience working with vulnerable adults and/or young people; recognised as a trusted and respected individual.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Confident, empathetic, and calm under pressure when responding to incidents or emergencies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and approachable attitude.
- Committed to actively promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion.
