HGV Technician / Mechanic

Location: Nuneaton
Salary: £46,000 + £2,000 Welcome Bonus (£1,000 after 6 months + £1,000 after 12 months)
Overtime: Plenty available

Hours:
Flexible shifts available: 6am-2pm, 7am-3pm, 8am-4pm
Standard 1-hour lunch (option to shorten for an earlier finish)

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out MOT preparation, servicing, and defect repairs on trailers

Inspect, maintain, and repair to a high standard

Complete all paperwork and compliance records accurately

Follow health & safety procedures

Maintain a clean and organised workspace

Support wider workshop tasks as needed

Deliver excellent customer service while working to deadlines

About You:

Ideally Level 3 qualified (not essential)

AIT qualification desirable

Experience working on trailers or HGV vehicles

Welding experience is a bonus

Strong communicator with a positive, professional approach

Organised and reliable
