🎓 Your Role

As a Design and Technology Teacher, you will:

Teach engaging and practical Design and Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

*

Deliver a broad and balanced curriculum, which may include areas such as product design, resistant materials, graphics, electronics, or systems and control (depending on your specialism)

*

Inspire students to think critically, solve real-world problems, and develop hands-on technical skills

*

Plan and deliver innovative lessons that foster creativity and independent thinking

*

Collaborate with a dedicated team to develop and improve schemes of work and assessment strategies

*

Provide constructive feedback to support student progress and personal development

*

Contribute to extracurricular activities such as STEM clubs, competitions, or design showcases

✅ What We're Looking For

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Design and Technology Teacher who:

*

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or will have QTS by September 2025

*

Has a degree in Design and Technology or a related subject area

*

Has knowledge and expertise in one or more specialist areas of D&T (e.g., product design, resistant materials, systems)

*

Is passionate about delivering a high-quality D&T education that prepares students for both academic and vocational pathways

*

Demonstrates excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills

*

Is committed to continuous professional development and reflective practice

*
