RG Consultancy are delighted to be partnering with a successful civil engineering company based in Widnes who are looking to recruit an experienced Assistant Accountant. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this is an excellent opportunity for an AAT qualified or AAT studier to join a supportive finance team within a growing company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with month-end processes including accruals, prepayments, and journals.
• Assist with monthly management accounts
• Perform bank reconciliations.
• Complete nominal ledger reconciliations.
• Manage sales and purchase ledger transactions.
• Support with credit control management.
• Carry out ad hoc duties as required to support the wider finance team.
