We are currently recruiting for one of our clients based in Duxford who are looking for a Financial Accountant t join their Finance team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will provide direct support to the Head of Finance, helping to maintain robust financial controls, accurate reporting, and strong compliance.

Typical duties include:

• Providing technical guidance and support to colleagues across Finance and the wider business
• Preparing statutory accounts and supporting external audits
• Assisting with internal audits and ensuring compliance with Group reporting requirements
• Managing UK compliance including corporation tax, VAT returns, and annual statements
• Preparing monthly management accounts and performing balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintaining the fixed asset register and overseeing month-end processes
• Supporting the development and implementation of a new ERP system
• Identifying areas of financial risk and helping to improve internal control processes

You will have:

• A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Experience in either practice or industry in a similar role
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
