Immediate opening for an experienced, organized Receiving Clerk in our Montebello Branch Office. The ideal candidate has 1-2 year experience receiving inventory in a warehouse environment and must be a self-motivated team player with a positive, can-do attitude. This position’s primary responsibility is receiving and also assists with deliveries and warehouse duties as needed. Candidate must have regular attendance, be hard working and able to get the job done.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Includes the following, other duties may be assigned)
Full-time position, no nights / no weekends;
Receives shipments (opens and inspects contents), reports discrepancies ;
Accurately logs all product into inventory – includes accurate data entry and inventory adjustments;
Maintains an organized system of receiving, stocking, pulling and shipping product;
Reviews Purchase Orders, invoices and inventory documentation.
Ensures consistent and accurate procedures;
Reports product damage, back orders, problems or delays to management for resolution/direction
Fills in a back-up Driver when needed. Company vehicle provided for deliveries.
Loading and driving large vans, box trucks, and/or bobtails.
Use of a Forklift and other warehouse equipment;
Warehouse duties may include, pulling, staging and stocking material, shipping and maintaining a clean environment;
Other duties as assigned including (but not limited to) product delivery and warehouse duties.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS (may include):
A standard driver's license with a clean driving record. Proof is required;
Successful completion of drug test and criminal background check;
Ability to lift 60 lbs., push/pull 50 lbs., and move a dolly loaded with up to 260 lbs.;
This candidate functions in a fast paced warehouse/office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and heavy equipment. Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions, stand or sit for extended periods and be able to perform regular physical labor.
EDUCATION AND/OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or 1 -2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Punctual with regular attendance, reliable, accurate and detail oriented;
Computer literate – GAP software experience a plus
Knowledge of signage goods, equipment and products (preferred); and
Forklift experience (preferred).

Hourly compensation, $13/hr. Benefits available (after 90-day probationary period), including Medical, Dental, Vision, Supplemental Insurances and 401(k).
