Salary: £24000 - £26000/annum negotiable doe

I am currently recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to join a successful business based in Denbighshire. You will be joining a business that has gone through significant organisational change as they embark on ambitious and exciting growth plans and there is an opportunity to be involved in project work, systems implementation and acquisitions.

Duties & Responsibilities:
* Support multiple payrolls
* Coordinate and check rotas
* Enter data onto system in an accurate and timely manner
* Enter new employees' data (e.g. bank accounts and tax) into internal system
* Prepare employees' compensation by the pay date each month using payroll software
* Schedule bank payments
* Calculate bonuses and allowances
* Deal with employee queries by email and telephone in a pleasant and timely manner
* Support the payovers of deductions from the payroll
* Distribute payment statements and gather paperwork to process advance payments and loans
* Provide training and support to staff on completing rotas and answer general payroll queries
* Ad hoc project work as new payroll and HR system is implemented

Qualifications & Experience:
* Payroll experience with demonstrable background in similar roles
* Self-starter
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines
* Ability to be discreet, dependable, and trustworthy
* Work well as part of a team, individually and have the ability to learn quickly
* Conscientious with a good eye for detail
