Delivering quality products to our customers is at the heart of what we do, and our Quality Control Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring that quality and compliance is adhered to.

This role is responsible for overseeing the quality control process and managing the QC team both permanent and seasonal staff.

Key Responsibilities for Quality Control Manager:

  • Provide leadership and direction to QC team.
  • Work with technical team and product / Harvest teams to manage quality of crop.
  • Drive GMP and food safety standards & manage HACCP implementation across harvest rigs.
  • Ensure QC and harvest teams’ compliance with latest customer and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the technical & product managers to develop research and development (R&D) strategies targeting QC management & quality improvement goals to enhance efficiency and performance.
  • Develop and implement LEAN practices to identify and eliminate waste across the area of responsibility.

Candidate requirements:

  • Experience in the food industry – ideally with short shelf-life product.
  • A proven history of leadership and quality management.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, quality control practices, and industry standards.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and people skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset.
