Project Manager - Civils | HMP Lancaster (12-Month Contract)

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a civils package on a high-security HMP site in Lancaster. This is a key role requiring strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and proven experience managing civils works within highly regulated or security-sensitive environments.

🔍 Key Responsibilities:

* Full project management of civils works including drainage, foundations, ducting, concrete works, and external hard landscaping.

* Manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure safe, timely, and budget-compliant delivery.

* Coordinate closely with the Ministry of Justice (MoJ), client representatives, and security personnel.

* Ensure strict adherence to H&S, environmental, and security procedures.

* Prepare and manage progress reports, cost forecasts, and risk registers.

✅ Must-Have Requirements:

* Proven experience delivering civils projects on secure sites (e.g. prisons, MoD, data centres).

* Valid SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certification.

* Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations and temporary works.

* Ability to pass enhanced security vetting for HMP access.

* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
