Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Blue Arrow are proud to be working with a leading manufacturing company based near Derby City Centre. They're looking to recruit an experienced Electrical & Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

What does this Electrical and Maintenance Engineer role involve?

Hours: 40 hours (Mon-Fri) - rotated shifts week on week covering days 6am - 2pm and afternoons 2pm - 10pm

Salary: £38,000 - £44,000 (dependant on experience)

What duties will be included in this Electrical and Maintenance Engineer role?
* Maintain, and troubleshoot all systems including power distribution, automated material handling equipment and all other operational equipment.
* Maintaining production equipment, Material handling equipment and Dust collection equipment.
* Maintaining electrical controls, PLC's, VSD's Servo motors, HMI, Motor control.
* Use power and hand tools to perform a variety of tasks including machine repair, electrical, electronic, and maintenance.
* Respond to verbal or written work assignments from Maintenance Supervisor, or other personnel as required · Inform supervisor of work in progress.
* Independently observe, report, and correct facility and equipment discrepancies.
* Checks for safety hazards, takes corrective action to eliminate safety hazards.
* Maintain applicable logs, records, equipment history folders, and equipment operation and maintenance manuals in an accurate and comprehensive manner.
* Perform any necessary task to ensure consistent service

What will you bring to the Electrical and Maintenance Engineer role?
* Electrically Biased engineer with Mechanical skills
* Experience in a manufacturing environment
* Experience in preventive maintenance (PPMs)
* Preferably qualified to HNC standard in Electrical Engineering or have IEE Regulation certified (18th Edition)
* City Guilds 2391 Certificate required.
