Court of Protection  Legal Advisor, Senior Paralegal or Part-qualified Legal Executive  Taunton | Hybrid Working 2+ Years experience needed  

The Role

This very established and fast growing regional law firm in Taunton is recruiting a Fee Earner into its established Court of Protection team 

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage a caseload of Property & Affairs matters
• Handle day-to-day tasks and decisions – Managing bank accounts, investments and benefits 
• Prepare and submit applications to the Court of Protection
• Liaise with individuals, their families, deputies and the OPG 
• Draft witness statements and court applications 
• Represent clients at Court of Protection hearings
• Supervise more junior members of the team 

About You

• You will already be working in a Court of Protection role
• And likely running your own caseload 
• You may be a Senior Paralegal or part-qualified legal executive looking for that next step 
• Eager to learn and get stuck in!
