Interim Accountant - Immediate Start

Location: Leicester (On-site)Rate: £200-£250 per dayContract: 2-3 months

About the Role

We're supporting a Leicester-based organisation seeking an experienced Interim Accountant who can join immediately and provide essential support during a busy period. This is a hands-on role suited to someone confident, reliable, and capable of working independently from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities to ensure smooth financial operations
• Handle month-end processes, including journals, accruals, and prepayments
• Complete bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Support the production of management accounts
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity
• Assist with any ad-hoc accounting tasks as required

Skills & Experience Required

• Strong, proven experience as an Accountant in a similar hands-on role
• A genuine safe pair of hands-able to hit the ground running
• Proficiency with Sage 50 (essential)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Available immediately and comfortable working fully on-site
