We are pleased to announce that SThree is looking for a new Placement Support Consultant, to be based in Glasgow, although working remotely for the foreseeable future. If you have strong administration skills and have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, then you could be the Placement Support Consultant we're looking for.

What will you be doing?

The Placement Support Consultant is the main link between the business, Client and Candidate in finalising deal information from submission of placement to invoicing of Client. Your main objective is to issue placements right first time with the information you have been provided and to provide a prompt response in the event of any subsequent queries.

You will also provide an exemplary level of business support to all relevant sales-related staff and managers and be responsible for assigning purchase orders to released placements and work collaboratively with the credit control team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Communicating with client and candidate to verify deal information, liaising with other parties as and when appropriate.
Checking on the appropriate internet site of legal entities that have correct information for both Client and Contractor's chosen Service Provider.
Updating the system with clear, detailed notes regarding actions taken and reasons.
Obtain all relevant documentation as defined in the Rules of Engagement and Placement Support Procedure Manual and attach within SAP. Chasing directly where this isn't forthcoming.
Ensuring every piece of information on the Middle Office Program in SAP is correct before releasing.
Once all criteria have been met, producing the contract or permanent invoice, ensuring this is in the post and released through the system same day, to ensure excellent service delivery.
Run a PO report to show those placements that have been released without a PO, and following up with clients or Accounts as necessary.
Representing the department positively as the first point of contact for queries, swiftly and efficiently resolving any queries relating, but not limited, to vendor payments, adjustments to placement details, Consultant queries, overdue invoices etc.

What skills/experience should you have?

Good administration skills
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Good understanding of terms and conditions in general, preferably with previous experience of analysing contract terms
SAP and Salesforce experience is preferable
Accounts payable/finance experience is advantageous, but not essential
