We have a fantastic opportunity to join a great company who are well known for their forward thinking and bespoke work, on a temporary to permanent basis.

Duties of a sole unit maker include:

* Making and attaching of sole units as per customer specifications.

* Standing at a work bench whilst working with hand tools /measuring devices

* Working on roughing machines /band saws /pillar drills

* Working with a shoe with no sole unit attached

* Making a sole unit from a pre-set work instruction

* Materials involved

* Leather /E.V.A / P.V.C / Rubber

Requirements:

* Good hand eye coordination

* Being able to work with a mature manner

* Reliability

* The ability to work as apart of a team as well as on your own

Hours

39 hours a week.

Salary

Starting from £20,000 - £25,000 PA

Previous experience is desirable however not necessary as in-depth hands-on training is provided.

Health and Safety

Health and safety procedures must be worn at all times. Care must be taken when using cutting blades and hand tools. All tools and machinery must be checked before use to ensure they are safe to use. Appropriate PPE must always be worn.
