JOB- Toolroom Manager
LOCATION- Bolton
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £55,000 - £62,000 per annum DOE

We are looking for Toolroom Manager on a permanent basis in the Bolton area with experience in Tooling & Injection Moulding, coming from a toolmaking background and managed toolrooms with preferably CNC machine shop experience.

The Toolroom Manager will ideally have the following attributes:

Qualified in Engineering ideally (NVQ / HNC / HND / Degree or similar) OR Qualified by experience- Toolmaking experience
Knowledge with EDM techniques
CAD/CAM experience
CNC shop management experience beneficial
Able to verbally communicate effectively at all levels
Injection moulded processes and tooling experience
Excellent attention to detail
The Toolroom Manager role will involve:

Manage manufacture of mould & press tools
Plan & implement new mould & press tooling required times
Assist the mould tool specialist in quotations
Report progress effectively across the SMT
Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
Demonstrate effective management of staff
Incorporate CNC component programming
Management of tool design
