An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fabric Engineer to join a growing SME FM business supporting a high‑profile landmark building in the heart of London's CBD. This is a hands‑on role offering variety, visibility, and the chance to grow with a business that values quality, teamwork, and long‑term development.

The Role

You will be responsible for the day‑to‑day fabric maintenance and upkeep of a prestigious commercial property, ensuring the building is presented and maintained to the highest standards. Working as part of a close‑knit on‑site team, you'll play a key role in delivering a first‑class service to occupiers and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

Planned and reactive fabric maintenance across the building
General building repairs including doors, locks, ceilings, flooring, tiling, and finishes
Basic carpentry, painting & decorating, patch plastering, and minor joinery works
Supporting inspections, audits, and compliance requirements
Working closely with engineers, supervisors, and specialist contractors
Proactively identifying fabric defects and improvement opportunities

About You

Proven experience in a Fabric Engineer or Building Maintenance role
Strong all‑round fabric skillset with a proactive, can‑do approach
Experience within commercial or landmark buildings preferred
Comfortable working in a customer‑facing environment
Able to work independently while contributing positively to a team
Health & Safety aware with a professional attitude
