Assembly Operative - Temp to Perm Opportunity (Stockport)

The Best Connection are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in central Stockport. This is an excellent 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate, offering stability and long-term prospects.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 07:00 - 15:00

• Friday: 07:00 - 12:30 (early finish!)

• 39 hours per week

Pay Rate:

• From £12.21 per hour, higher rates on overtime

You will be working as part of a small, supportive team within the assembly department, helping to meet production targets and ensure high-quality finished products.

• Assemble LED boards, frames, and light fittings

• Carry out wiring, testing, and final assembly of products

• Complete packaging and palletising of finished goods

• Follow production schedules and support team members when needed

• Ensure all products meet quality standards and report any issues

• Maintain accurate documentation in line with ISO and SAGE requirements

• Adhere to all Health & Safety guidelines

• Keep your work area clean, organised, and efficient

• Contribute to continuous improvement within the team

• A reliable and hardworking individual

• Good attention to detail and quality standards

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential

• Temp-to-perm opportunity with long-term potential

• Early finish every Friday
