Job Title: Commercial Gas Engineer
Location: Coventry (Mobile Role - Across Midlands & Secure Sites)
Salary: £43,000 - £45,000 per annum + Structured Overtime

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer for a permanent mobile role covering secure sites across the Midlands, including work within UK prisons. This is a stable, long-term opportunity with a well-established facilities management provider, offering excellent benefits and a loyal client base.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you'll be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of commercial gas and oil-fired heating systems across a variety of secure environments.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on commercial gas systems

*

Work across secure and sensitive sites, including prisons

*

Service, fault-find, and repair commercial heating and ventilation systems

*

Operate CAFM systems to log works and generate compliance reports

*

Follow all relevant health and safety guidelines

*

Participate in an out-of-hours on-call service rota

*

Support general M&E tasks when required

Candidate Requirements

Essential:

*

Valid Commercial Gas Safe certifications

*

Experience servicing and maintaining commercial heating systems

*

Experience working in prisons or secure environments

*

Full UK driving licence

*

Familiarity with CAFM (tablet-based) systems

*

Eligible for or currently hold CTC clearance

Preferred:

OFTEC qualification

*

Electrical or general M&E understanding
