HGV Technician - Nightshift
Location: Middleton
Pay: Up to £25.12 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Hours: Week 1 - 18:00 to 04:00 | Week 2 - 20:00 to 06:00 (Tuesday - Friday)
Contract: Permanent | Full-Time

The Opportunity We are looking for a skilled HGV Technician to join a busy workshop in Middleton on a rotating nightshift schedule. This role is perfect for an experienced technician who thrives working independently and values excellent working conditions. Key Responsibilities
Perform servicing, repairs, and diagnostic work on a range of heavy goods vehicles

Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards

Carry out vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to keep fleet roadworthy

Complete all job cards and workshop documentation accurately

Collaborate with parts and service teams to ensure efficient workflow

What You'll Need
Level 3 qualification in HGV Maintenance (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)

Previous experience working in an HGV technician role, preferably on night shifts or shift work

Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Full, valid UK driving licence
