?? The Role
We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Programme Leader in Business to oversee our weekday and evening delivery. You’ll lead academic delivery and quality across your programme, inspire students and staff alike, and play a key part in curriculum development and student experience. This is a leadership position with some teaching responsibility, ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative academic environment and is passionate about business education.
?? Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of Business programmes for weekday and evening cohorts
- Ensure a high-quality, engaging student experience aligned with academic and partner standards
- Manage academic quality processes, assessments, and curriculum design
- Mentor academic staff and lead teaching improvements across your programme
- Work closely with Module Leaders, Faculty Managers, and the Head of Programmes
- Support digital learning, student inductions, and academic boards
- Engage in subject-specific research and scholarly activity
- Teach selected modules and provide student support, including feedback and assessment literacy
? What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- A Master’s degree in a relevant Business or Enterprise discipline
- At least 2 years of programme/course management experience in HE
- Experience with franchised and validated academic partnerships
- Strong track record in teaching and curriculum development
- Confident using digital platforms (e.g., CANVAS, Blackboard, Microsoft Teams)
- FHEA status or willingness to complete within 12 months
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
Desirable:
- PhD or SFHEA
- Experience engaging with industry and external stakeholders
- Collaboration with local businesses to enhance employability
- Familiarity with digital trends in education and assessment
