Earthworks Supervisor - Major Infrastructure Project (Aylesbury)
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected civil engineering contractor, known for delivering large-scale infrastructure and earthmoving projects across the UK. With a strong pipeline of secured work, they are now seeking an experienced Earthworks Supervisor to join their team on a high-profile HS2 project in Aylesbury.
This is a long-term opportunity offering 2-3 years of consistent work for the right candidate.
Role Overview:
You will be responsible for supervising bulk earthworks operations on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge and proven experience managing large-scale earthmoving activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day bulk earthworks operations
- Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and site procedures
- Coordinate plant, labour, and materials effectively
- Monitor progress and maintain quality standards
- Liaise with site management and subcontractors
Requirements:
- Minimum Gold CSCS Card
- SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme)
- EUSR Card
- Strong background in bulk earthworks and heavy civils
- Proven experience in a supervisory role on major projects
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
