Salary: £95-£110 per Day

We are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a specialist SEN school in Cambridge, supporting students aged 5-19 with Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC), particularly high-functioning autism. The school welcomes both day pupils and weekly boarders, and offers a nurturing, structured, and inclusive environment.

We are now seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join this dynamic and supportive team.

🧩 About the Role

As a HLTA, you will:

Support and lead learning activities for individuals and small groups
Collaborate with teachers to develop and deliver differentiated learning strategies
Help students access the curriculum and reach their full potential
Apply your expertise in ASC to support communication, emotional regulation, and social development
Play an active role in creating a safe and supportive school environment✅ What You'll Need to Succeed

HLTA Qualification (or willingness to work towards it)
GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in both Maths and English
Proven knowledge, understanding, and experience of working with children and young people with Autism, particularly high-functioning autism
A broad understanding of teaching strategies for students with ASC
The ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt quickly to change
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working within a multidisciplinary team💼 What We Offer
